2 of 5 Huevos | Had breakfast there May 14, and found it to be a rather disappointing experience.
Maybe it was because I was alone, but the server initially wanted to seat me at the bar even though there were plenty of open high-tops and booths. When I asked for a high-top, her reaction was along the lines of, "Well I guess I can have one cleared." We settled on one of the clean, empty booths.
Ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. After 15 minutes, had to ask how it was coming along, and was told the corned beef's prep time was one of the longest on the breakfast menu. She also told me I didn't tell her I was in a rush. Not that I was, or assumed I had to tell her.
Food finally came five minutes later, and lord knows why it took so long because it looked and tasted like it'd just come out of a can of Mary Kitchen's.
Naw, if you're downtown, go to Key's or Peter's or FireLake. Ike's just ain't worth it.
